Ross Stores has told landlords that it plans to stop paying rent during the period where stores are closed. "Coronavirus Was Final Blow on J.C. Penney's Long March to Bankruptcy" at 7 a.m. ET on April 26, incorrectly said it had skipped April 1 rent payments.
