Today, Navigant (NYSE: NCI) announces Vinay Torani and Joseph
Mevorah have joined Navigant’s Financial Risk & Compliance
segment in New York. Torani and Mevorah provide valuation and other
advisory services to life sciences, healthcare, financial services,
industrial products, technology and telecommunication organizations
for internal strategic decision making, transactions, tax and
financial reporting purposes.

Vinay Torani, Managing Director, New York
Torani brings more than 18 years of corporate finance, valuation
and mergers and acquisition advisory experience in life sciences,
healthcare, industrial products, technology, telecommunication, and
non-profit sectors. He provides valuation and related advisory
services, including fairness opinions, to private, publicly traded
and early-stage companies with respect to M&A transactions for
their strategic evaluation, tax and financial reporting purposes.
Prior to joining Navigant, Torani was a Managing Director at Duff
& Phelps, where he was the leader of its Morristown, New Jersey
office and part of the Valuation Advisory Services practice.
Previously, Torani was a Manager with Standard & Poor’s
Corporate Value Consulting. He also was a Vice President in the
Mergers and Acquisitions practice of Ambit Corporate Finance, an
investment bank in India, and he spent six years with
PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Financial Advisory Services practice in New
York.
Joseph Mevorah, Director, New York
Mevorah has over 20 years of combined Wall Street, commercial
bank and advisory experience. He provides valuation services to a
wide range of financial institutions related to mergers &
acquisitions, asset and whole business valuation, the
securitization of all asset classes, and regulatory advisory.
Throughout his career, Mevorah has advised both senior
management and boards of financial firms, as well as senior
regulators at both the Federal and State level. Prior to joining
Navigant, Mevorah spent a number of years at firms including
Houlihan Lokey, Gleacher & Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers and
Lehman Brothers. He has worked with both global, systemically
important institutions as well as U.S. Domestic regional banks and
the Government-sponsored enterprises. His career has been focused
on providing strategy, valuation and advisory assistance. He was
instrumental in helping troubled financial institutions through the
2008 recession, as well as advising them on disposing of assets and
advising the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Fannie
Mae (FNMA), Freddie Mac and the Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD). He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences
as well.
