The Company announces that the Directors made the following purchases of 2p
ordinary shares in the Company:

*  400,000 of these ordinary shares are held jointly by Arthur Baker and his wife.
** 583,333 of these ordinary shares are held jointly by Russell Stevens and his 
   wife. 200,000 of these ordinary shares are held by Russell Stevens' pension fund. 
   50,000 of these ordinary shares are held by Russell Stevens' wife, the
   beneficial owner. 20,000 of these ordinary shares are held on trust by Mr L M
   Turner for the benefit of Russell Stevens' children arising out of a settlement
   made by Russell Stevens' mother, Mrs D Stevens.


The Company was notified on 14 July 2003 that Corvus Capital Inc. had disposed
of 1,460,000 2p ordinary shares on 9 July 2003. Corvus Capital Inc. no longer
holds any shares in the Company following this disposal.

In addition, the Company was also notified that Hoodless Brennan & Partners Plc
had disposed of 70,000 2p ordinary shares on 10 July 2003, 50,000 2p ordinary
shares on 11 July 2003 and 180,000 2p ordinary shares on 15 July 2003. Hoodless
Brennan & Partners Plc now holds a total of 1,160,000 2p ordinary shares,
representing approximately 9.28 per cent. of the issued share capital.
