MONTREAL and VANCOUVER, May 4 /CNW/ -- MONTREAL and VANCOUVER, May 4 /CNW Telbec/ - EACOM Timber Corporation (TSXV: ETR) ("EACOM", or the "Company") announced today the following senior management changes. Rick Collins, currently President and COO, International Operations, is appointed President and COO, Sales and Operations, with full responsibility for all of the Company's sales and operations. Éric Michaud, currently Vice-President, Operations, is appointed Senior Vice-President, Operations, with responsibility for sawmill operations and timberlands. The Company also announced that Mel Lemky has joined the organization as Vice-President, Operations, Ontario sawmills, a newly created position. Mr. Lemky brings with him a long experience of the lumber industry and will help optimize the performance of the Company's Ontario mills. Mike O'Blenis, currently General Director, Forest Operations, North-East Ontario, is appointed Vice-President, Forest Operations for all of the Company's Ontario timberlands. Brian Nicks, currently Director, Forestry and Environment, is appointed Vice-President, Forestry and Environment. And Stéphane Blanchette, currently Senior Director, Human Resources, is appointed Vice-President, Human Resources. "EACOM is building a strong team with a clear focus on improving productivity and reducing costs in all of its operations, as well as ensuring global growth in lumber sales and distribution'', said Mr. Rick Doman, President and CEO of EACOM.
