Airgas Inc. (ARG) is partnering with MacEwen Petroleum Inc., Maxville, Ontario, to distribute AiRx Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) in Canada. MacEwen is a leading supplier of petroleum products to customers ranging from retail to wholesale to commercial and residential markets. MacEwen is also a leading convenience store operator with its C-store Brand.

Airgas AiRx DEF is used in diesel engines and helps reduce harmful diesel exhaust pollutants with the help of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. The product has a certification from the American Petroleum Institute (API) and complies with EPA clean air regulations.

Airgas is a reliable supplier and has an immense distribution network, which has influenced MacEwen to join hands with Airgas. Besides, MacEwen has an amazing track record as a supplier and is confident that the alliance of the two can successfully serve the Canadian markets. Airgas has recently realigned its operations dividing it into four divisions:  viz, West, North, South and Central to reap the benefits from its new customized SAP information platform.
