Winland Reports Q3 2013 and Nine-Month Results

MANKATO, MN--(Marketwired - Nov 8, 2013) - Winland Electronics, Inc. (OTCQB: WELX) today reported sales of environmental monitoring products of $977,000 for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013, a decrease of $164,000, or 14.4 percent in the comparable period in 2012.

The Company reported a net loss of $669,000, or $0.18 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended September 30, 2013 compared to a net loss of $114,000, or $0.03 per basic and diluted share, in the third quarter of 2012. 

Product sales for the nine months ended September 30, 2013 were $2,719,000, down $48,000, or 1.7 percent from the same period last year. Winland reported a net loss of $1,909,000, or $0.51 per basic and diluted share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2013, compared to a net loss of $282,000, or $0.08 per basic and diluted share, for the same period in 2012.

The Company's full financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2013 will be included in its Form 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
