Ms Margaret Sweeney, Chief Executive, Aer Rianta cpt (the Guarantor) has
notified the Board of Aer Rianta of her decision to exercise the termination
clause in her contract of employment with effect from 30 September 2004.

At the request of the Department of Transport, Ms. Sweeney has agreed to remain
in her position for a transitional period to facilitate the incoming Board of
the Dublin Airport Authority plc (following the change of company name) which
takes up office on October 1, 2004.

In a statement issued today the Board of Aer Rianta acknowledged the very
significant contribution Margaret Sweeney has made to the Guarantor and its
associated companies, both in Ireland and internationally, during her term as
Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive. The full text of the Board's
