STATEMENT OF INVESTMENT POLICY


The Board of The Accelerated Return Fund Limited ("Company") notes the
publication of the Investment Entities (Listing Rules and Conduct of Business)
Instrument 2003 and announces that it is the Company's investment policy to
invest in a portfolio of investments whose performance are based on the
performance of the FTSE 100 Index. Accordingly, no more than 15 per cent. of the
Company's gross assets will be invested in other UK listed investment companies
(including investment trusts).
