August Equity Trust plc realises its investment in InterMed Holdings Limited

August Equity Trust plc ('AET') is pleased to announce it has realised its
investment in InterMed Holdings Limited ('InterMed') through the sale of the
company in a #27.5 million MBO backed by a US venture capital firm.  The
investment was held indirectly through August Equity Partners I ('AEP I').
AET's share of the realisation proceeds is #3.4 million. This is #1.3 million
over the valuation as at 31 December 2006.

AEP I is a limited partnership to which AET has committed #50 million.  AET and
AEP I are both managed by August Equity LLP.
