Transaction in own shares

Burberry Group plc ("Burberry") announces that on 29 September 2016 it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 0.05 pence each on the London Stock Exchange from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Burberry on 19 July 2016, as announced on 20 July 2016:
