Re: Notice of Meeting and Proxy
Statement for 2024 Annual General Meeting
The Notice of Meeting and Proxy Statement for
the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Company and a Proxy Card
(together, the "AGM Documents") have been published by the Company
and were furnished on a Form 8-K today to the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
Today, the Company also filed with the SEC an
amendment (the "Form 10-K/A") to its Annual Report on Form 10-K for
the year ended December 31, 2023, (the "Annual Report on Form
10-K") which was filed with the SEC on February 29, 2024. The Form
10-K/A supplements the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K to
include further information on the Company's corporate governance
arrangements and practices which is also set out in the Notice of
Meeting and Proxy Statement.
The AGM Documents and the Form 10-K/A are
available to view on the SEC's website at https://www.sec.gov and the
Company's website at https://www.crh.com. The AGM Documents have also been submitted to
the U.K. National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available
for inspection at:
https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.
The AGM Documents are expected to be mailed to
shareholders who have requested a hard copy on or around March
27, 2024.
The financial statements of the Company for the
fiscal year ended December 31, 2023 prepared in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by
the European Union (the "Irish Statutory Accounts") were also
published by the Company today and are available to view on the
Company's website at: https://www.crh.com.
The Irish Statutory Accounts have been submitted
to the U.K. Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for
inspection at: https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.
