PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT
Eurocity Properties PLC ("Eurocity" or "the Company")
The Board of Eurocity is pleased to announce the acquisition of a feuhold
property comprising two retail units with ancillary accommodation at 27-37
Main Street, Wishaw, Scotland, producing a combined rental income of #107,500
per annum.
27-29 Main Street is let on a full repairing and insuring lease subject to
five yearly upward only rent reviews to Scottish Power UK plc. There are over
ten years remaining on the lease. The next rent review is due on 24 June 2001.
31-37 Main Street is let on a full repairing and insuring lease subject to
five yearly upward only rent reviews to Shoefayre Limited. There are just
under ten years remaining on the lease. The next rent review is due on 25
March 2006. The rent review due on 25 March 2001 is currently under
negotiation.
The purchase price is #985,000, which has been financed by a mortgage from the
Nationwide Building Society.

and should provide an immediate enhancement both to our balance sheet and
profitability."
