Application
Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP), the
owner and operator of premium, studio-led student accommodation
aligned to top-tier universities, announces that an application has
been made to the Financial Conduct Authority and the London Stock
Exchange, for admission to (i) the Official List; and (ii) trading
on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, for a blocklisting
of securities in respect of a total of 9,000,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each (the "Ordinary Shares") in the Company. It is
expected that admission will become effective on or around 19 April
2024.
The new Ordinary Shares will be issued from time
to time pursuant to the exercise of options and awards granted
under certain share-based incentive arrangements operated by the
Company, including its tax advantaged SAYE option plan.
Such new Ordinary Shares will, when issued, be
credited as fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects
with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
