Sims Metal Management Ltd. (SGM.AU) said Friday it acquired assets of Fairless Iron & Metal LLC for an undisclosed amount.

Sims said the acquisition is not material for the metal and electronics recycling company and that it will be immediately accretive.

The assets are located in Pennsylvania.
