TURBO GENSET TO RECRUIT PERMANENT CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Turbo Genset, the producer of high-technology power generation and conditioning
equipment, announces that it has commenced a search for a permanent Chief
Executive to strengthen the Management Team. Peter Hollins, who was appointed as
Interim Chief Executive in August 2002, will leave the Company at the end of
this week, prior to taking up his new role as Director General of the British
Heart Foundation. Until the new Chief Executive joins, Professor Colin Besant
will act as CEO in addition to his role as Chairman.
Colin Besant said "Peter has made a very major contribution to the Company
during his time here. In the past year, Turbo Genset has made good progress in
transforming its superb technology into commercial reality. The time has come
for a permanent Chief Executive to capitalise on that progress. Peter takes with
him the good wishes of the Board and Management Team for his new career".
Peter Hollins said "I believe that Turbo Genset has excellent technology and am
proud to have been part of the Management Team during such a key phase in the
Company's development. I am confident that the Management Team can take the
Company forward into an exciting and profitable future".
