Vinci Construction-Led Consortium Wins $1.69 Billion Contract in France

Vinci SA said Wednesday that a consortium led by its subsidiary
Vinci Construction Grands Projets secured a contract for the second
works package of the Lyon-Turin rail line.
The French construction and infrastructure company said the
contract worth 1.43 billion euros ($1.69 billion) covers the
construction of tunnels between Saint-Martin-la-Porte and Modane in
France.
The consortium also includes Italian construction company
Webuild SpA.
Vinci said works would last more than five years.
