Agreement increases access to convenient, high-quality care
for Express Scripts customers

Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) and its Family of Pharmacies today announced
a new agreement with Express Scripts, the pharmacy benefit services
business of Evernorth.
The new agreement provides access to prescription medications
and health services at the Kroger Family of Pharmacies for
Express Scripts customers.

Under the new agreement, the Kroger Family of Pharmacies
immediately resumes serving customers who are part of Express
Scripts' Medicare Part D plans and Tricare/Department of Defense
(DOD) plans. Additionally, Express Scripts commercial and Medicaid
clients can add Kroger Family of Pharmacies to their respective
networks. Collectively, these plans cover more than 100 million
people in the United States.
