The Board of Solitaire Group PLC (the "Company") wish to announce that following
the retirement of Mr Tom Quinn, from his position on the Board, Mr Christopher
Philips has been appointed as Non-Executive Director and will replace Mr Quinn
with immediate effect.


The Company will be making a further announcement in accordance with Schedule
Two, paragraph (f), of the AIM Rules in due course.
