as Chief Operating Officer

ACT Aurora Control Technologies Corp. (TSX-VENTURE:ACU) ("Aurora"
or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg
Ayres as Chief Operating Officer effective May 19, 2014. Mr. Ayres
joins the leadership team with the responsibility of delivering a
winning business pursuit strategy, developing enterprise supply
agreements for Aurora's products and services and refining our
marketing and customer-facing messaging.
Mr. Ayres has a proven record of developing business objectives,
directing business and sales strategy and leading organizations to
achieve growth and increased profitability. He spent 15 years with
Measurex in various roles, culminating in leading a 300 employee
team as Vice President, North America Sales & Service. When
Honeywell bought Measurex, Mr. Ayres was appointed VP & General
Manager of Honeywell's Paper Business and led the $600M operation
to double-digit profitability. For the last ten years, Mr. Ayres
has been Chief Operating Officer of Yes Video, a digital imaging
company, where he has led the global commercialization and
distribution efforts and has delivered consistent sales and
earnings growth.

The Board of Directors has granted an additional 450,000
incentive stock options to directors, officers and employees for
their contributions to the company and 75,000 incentive options to

price of the options is set at $0.40 and they will expire in five
years. The stock options are subject to regulatory approval.
