Pro Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PRM) and its Board of Directors are pleased to
announce that, based on positive results now received from the 2010 exploration
program on the company's 100% owned Shining Tree Gold Project, a multi-phase
diamond drilling program has been recommended. Results from all phases of the
2010 exploration program (prospecting, geological mapping, outcrop sampling and
geophysical surveys) have been received, compiled and interpreted by consulting
geologist Robert D. Stewart of Integeos Inc., who has put forth the affirmative
recommendation. Robert D. Stewart will be integral in the planning and execution
of follow up drilling on the project.

Positive gold results from bedrock grab samples associated with high
chargeability in altered rhyolites are the target of recommended drilling. Pro
Minerals' 71.89 hectare Shining Tree Gold Project (also known as the Beilby Lake
Property) occurs within 150m of auriferous quartz veins on the former
Gold-Corona and Churchill occurrences. None of the identified targets on Pro
Minerals claims have ever been drilled and surface mapping indicates that
drilling rather than trenching is considered the best means to test these
targets. The recommended Phase One drilling program will start by testing the
greater than 300m long Beilby Creek Target on two sections spaced 150 metres
apart to determine the nature and structure of shear zones, quartz vein zones
and associated wall rock alteration in the volcanic stratigraphy. This target
may be an along-strike continuation of south-westerly-trending auriferous veins
occurring over a 200m breadth at the Gold-Corona and Churchill occurrences.
Drilling will therefore test for multiple auriferous quartz veins in an area
that is also along strike of shear zones mapped on the shores of Beilby Lake.
Subsequent drilling of the Beilby Creek Target and other targets will be
determined as results warrant. Drilling would start once permitting and the
financing announced July 5th, 2010 are completed.

Pro Minerals Inc.'s Shining Tree Gold Project is located in the Shining Tree
camp, part of the Larder Lake Mining District in north-eastern Ontario. The
Shining Tree Camp is currently experiencing heightened interest, based on recent
announcements made by companies exploring in the camp. Creso Exploration Inc.
continues to produce impressive gold results on their MINTO Project, recently
announcing an intersection of 82.5 metres of 13.3 G/T AU, and Platinex Inc. are
currently carrying out an aggressive 11,500m drill program to further evaluate
and expand the Herrick gold deposit which sits approximately 1200 metres North
of Pro Minerals Shining Tree Project. The company would also like to invite the
public to visit our website to view "Pro Minerals Shining Tree video". The 2
part, 15 minute video, contains portions of a mini documentary which follows the
staking rush that occurred in September 1996, when the Shining Tree Camp was
re-opened for exploration. The video gives the public a chance to see first-hand
just how this historic staking rush (which utilized high school track athletes
to get a leg up on the competition) took place, as well as interviews with the
individuals involved.
