Stephen Morris, announced the results of operations for the first quarter of 2010 and commented, “First quarter 2010 net income was $225,025, $0.78 per share. The results are reflective of the continuing sluggish economy. Despite the challenges related to the current economy, Jefferson Security Bank remains well capitalized as defined by regulatory guidelines.”

As of March 31, 2010, total assets of the Bank were $258.1 million, loans, net of reserve, were $142.9 million and deposits were $236.0 million. The return on average assets was 0.36%, and the return on average equity was 4.71% for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. At March 31, 2010, net loans to deposits was 60.55% and book value per share was $67.30.
