YARIY Yara International ASA (PK)

Norwegian chemical company Yara International ASA (YAR.OS) said Wednesday that it has appointed Petter Ostbo as Chief Financial Officer and executive vice president with immediate effect.

Mr. Ostbo was executive vice president for production at the company, and will be replaced in the role on April 1 by Tove Andersen--who currently is the executive vice president for supply chain, Yara said.

Pablo Barrera Lopez--head of the company's operations in Chile--will replace Ms. Andersen as executive vice president for supply chain, Yara added.

The company also said that Torgeir Kvidal is to take up the position of head of mining operations with immediate effect.

"It is now time to simplify our organization, to be even more agile and responsive in a time marked by both big challenges and immense opportunities" said Svein Tore Holsether, president and chief executive of Yara.
