Anglo American CEO Cynthia Carroll Interviewed About Her Decision
to Step Down
LONDON, October 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Mining boss Cynthia Carroll has
announced that she is to step down as Chief Executive but remain in
the role until a successor is found.
"I will be here until it a successor is identified and a smooth
transition takes place," she said in a video interview.
The hunt for Ms Carroll's successor is already underway.
Anglo American Chairman Sir

important thing is to find the right person to build on the strong
foundations that Cynthia has already laid."
He added that Cynthia had had a "transformational impact on
