                        Notification of issue of options


At a Board meeting on 23 October 2003 approval was given for options over 75,000
shares to be granted to Bruce Morrison, the recently appointed Finance Director,
at the closing mid market price on 22 October of 49.5p.

Approval was also given for options at the same price to be granted over 45,000
shares to non executive Chairman Martin Baldwin and over 20,000 to non executive
director Richard Hall.
