                            APPLICATION FOR LISTING



The Company announces that it has issued and allotted 388,243 new ordinary
shares of 10p each ("New Shares") pursuant to the exercise of an option. The New
Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of 10p each.

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for the New Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading
on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities ('Admission'). It is
expected that Admission will occur on 18 September 2003.
