PowerShares Dynamic Mid Cap Growth Portfolio (AMEX: PWJ) had an annualized return of 12.58% and cumulative return of 42.69%, outperforming the S&P 500 Index with an annualized return of -13.11% and cumulative return of 13.79%. For the three-year period ending June 30, 2008, the PowerShares Dynamic Mid Cap Growth Portfolio earned a Morningstar Rating(TM) of five stars when compared to the 813 U.S.-domiciled mid-cap growth funds.

Ratings are based on a risk-adjusted return measure that accounts for variation in a fund's monthly performance (including the effect of sales charges, loads and redemption fees), placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The overall rating is derived from a weighted average of three-, five- and 10-year rating metrics, as applicable.
