Aspen Added to Russell 3000 and Russell 2000 Investment Indexes

Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited ("Aspen" or "the Company")
(NYSE:AHL) today announced that Aspen received notification it will
be added to the Russell 3000� broad-market index and the Russell
2000� small-cap stock market equity index on June 22, 2007. The
Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and
institutional investors as benchmarks for both passive and active
investment strategies. Chris O�Kane, Aspen�s Chief Executive
Officer, commenting on the index inclusions said: �I am pleased

remain in place for one year, and the Russell 3000� serves as the
