TORONTO, Jan. 11, 2019 /CNW/ - BMO Investments Inc. today announced the launch of ETF Series units for the actively-managed BMO Tactical Dividend ETF Fund.

BMO Tactical Dividend ETF Fund – ETF Series (Ticker: ZZZD) provides investors access to a portfolio that protects investments and identifies tactical growth opportunities. The fund invests primarily in dividend-paying ETFs and also capitalizes on short-term investment strategies.

The offering of ETF Series units of the fund has closed and it will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange today.

"Over the past 20 years, investors have increasingly needed to take a higher level of risk to maintain income and returns. With today's volatile markets, repositioning investments and risk management is more important than ever," said Mark Raes, Head of Product, BMO Global Asset Management. "Using ETFs, the fund can pivot efficiently to be aggressive or defensive depending on the markets, while letting the investor sleep well at night."

BMO Tactical Dividend ETF Fund is sub-advised by Larry Berman of ETF Capital Management, who has more than 30 years of extensive industry experience in fundamental and technical analysis as well as managing ETF portfolios.

Further, BMO Tactical Dividend ETF Fund Series A was awarded 'Best Mutual Fund in the Tactical Balanced Space over Three Years' at the 2018 Thomson Reuters Lipper Fund Awards.

Mr. Raes added that BMO Global Asset Management continues to be a Canadian leader in combining active and passive investing through its suite of award-winning ETFs and mutual funds.
