PVF.UN Partners Value Investments LP

Partners Value Investments LP (the “Partnership”) (TSXV:PVF.UN) today announced that, through a series of transactions during the period beginning on April 4, 2018 and ending on October 29, 2018 (the “Transactions”), it acquired of a total of 263,400 common shares (the “Acquired Shares”) of Trisura Group Ltd. (“Trisura Group”) (TSX:TSU), representing approximately 2% of the outstanding common shares of Trisura Group (the “Common Shares”). The Acquired Shares were purchased through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange at an average price of C$25.78 per Common Share, for a total purchase price of C$6,791,736.37.  The price per Common Share ranged from $24.24 and $27.69. 

Prior to the Transactions, the Partnership owned, directly or indirectly, 943,643 Common Shares, representing approximately 16.2% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares. As a result of the Transaction, the Partnership beneficially owns, directly or indirectly, 1,207,034 Common Shares, representing approximately 18.2% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.

The Partnership acquired the Acquired Shares for investment purposes. It may, depending on market and other conditions, or as future circumstances may dictate, increase or dispose of some or all of the Common Shares it holds or will hold, or may continue to hold its current position. The Partnership has entered into an automatic share purchase plan with a designated broker in order to facilitate acquisitions of up to an additional 100,000 Common Shares by the Partnership on Canadian marketplaces.
