                                 BOARD CHANGES

DAVID WEIR FCA

Deltron Electronics plc ("Deltron"), the specialist European electromechanical
solutions provider, announces the appointment to its Board with immediate effect
of David Weir FCA as a non-Executive Director.

Mr Weir is a non-Executive director with the following companies:

Dee Valley Group plc
E W Beard Holdings Ltd
The Pheonix Timber Group plc

Before becoming a non-executive director Mr Weir was Chief Executive from 1993
to 1999 of Caird Group plc, a waste management company quoted on the London
Stock Exchange and qualified as a chartered accountant during five years with
Thornton Baker & Co from 1964 to 1970.

Paul Gourmand, Chairman said:

"David Weir is a great addition to the Board. He brings extensive industrial
experience and financial knowledge. We are very fortunate to have him join us."

The Company advises that no details have failed to be disclosed under Paragraph
16.4 of the UKLA Listing Rules.


SIR IVOR COHEN

Deltron would also like to announce that Sir Ivor Cohen will retire from the
Board on 31 December 2003.

"Deltron is indebted to Sir Ivor for his wise counsel over many years. He brings
experience and some considerable wit and will be greatly missed. On behalf of
the Board I would like to thank him for his considerable contribution to the
Group."
