that Mark Williamson, Senior Independent Director and Chairman of
the Audit Committee, will be appointed as Non-executive Chairman of
Spectris plc ('Spectris'), with effect from the conclusion of the
Spectris Annual General Meeting to be held on 26 May 2017.
