Osmetech plc ('Osmetech' or the 'Company') 
Board Changes 
Osmetech plc (OMH.L) is pleased to announce that Jon Faiz Kayyem, PhD, founder 
of the Company's core molecular diagnostics business and a member of the Board, 
with effect from 28 August has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 
on a full-time basis until the search for a new CEO has been completed. Dr 
Kayyem had previously served as Joint interim Chief Executive with Chris 
Gleeson. Dr Kayyem, who resides in Pasadena, California where the Osmetech 
Molecular Diagnostics business is based, will work closely with Board Chairman 
Chris Gleeson on key operational initiatives around menu expansion and 
placements of the Company's flagship XT-8 system for multiplexed molecular 
diagnostic testing. 
"Osmetech is undergoing significant change and is positioned for rapid growth. 
Having Faiz Kayyem full time, driving the business across all functions, will 
ensure that our immediate focus on expanding our menu of high value tests and 
substantially increasing placements of our XT-8 systems has the highest 
priority," commented Chris Gleeson, Chairman of the Board. 
Osmetech also announces that on the same date Mark Lappe, a non-executive 
director, resigned from the Board, so that he can focus on his management 
consulting business. The Board would like to recognize and thank Mr. Lappe for 
his excellent contribution to the development of the Company.
