CAE wins full-flight simulator order from Lufthansa Flight Training
Berlin MONTREAL, May 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (NYSE: CGT; TSX:
CAE) - CAE has been awarded a contract to provide an Airbus A320
full-flight simulator to Germany's Lufthansa Flight Training Berlin
(LFTB). The twenty-fifth simulator that the Lufthansa Group has
ordered from CAE since 1980, the simulator has a list-price value
of C$14 million, and represents CAE's first full-flight simulator
order of fiscal year 2006. The A320 simulator is scheduled for
installation at the Lufthansa training facility at Berlin's
Schonefeld Airport in spring 2006. "CAE simulation products have
proven to be among the most reliable worldwide, and this has led us
to place another order for an A320 family full- flight simulator
