                       Resignation of executive director

SR Pharma plc today announces the resignation of Dr David Kennard as an
Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.  As Chief Operating
Officer, David has been instrumental in the transition of the company over the
last eight years from its university roots into a competitive London Stock
Exchange listed biopharmaceutical company. Dr Kennard's responsibilities have
been assumed by CEO, Dr. David Hill.

Chairman Eric Boyle commented:  "David's hard work and overall contribution to
SR Pharma is greatly appreciated and I thank him for the role he has played in
its success to date. On behalf of the Board and employees of SR Pharma, I would
like to wish David every success in his future endeavours."
