LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE said Wednesday that Pietro
Beccari will take the helm of the group's largest fashion brand,
Louis Vuitton, while predecessor Michael Burke will take up new
responsibilities at the luxury-goods giant.
Mr. Beccari, until now head of LV stablemate Christian Dior
Couture, will serve as chief executive and chairman of the brand,
the company said.
Mr. Burke, who has led LV for 10 years, will assume new duties,
reporting directly to group CEO and controlling shareholder Bernard
Arnault, LVMH said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Arnault's daughter, Delphine Arnault, will
succeed Mr. Beccari as CEO and chairman of Dior, while the brand's
executive vice president Charles Delapalme will serve as managing
director, LVMH said.
As part of the organizational changes, U.S. jeweler
Tiffany--which LVMH bought at the beginning of 2021 in a landmark
$15.8 billion deal--will from now on be housed in the group's
watches & jewelry division, the company said.
