TRADING UPDATE
ILX Group plc (AiM: ILX), the AIM quoted provider of e-learning
software and consulting services, is pleased to provide an update
on trading for the year ended 31 March 2012. The Company is
confident that its results will meet market expectations with
increased revenue, compared to 2011, giving an operating profit of
approximately GBP1 million.
Despite the continued challenging market conditions, especially
in the UK, ILX has experienced overall revenue growth due to the
strength of its overseas operations.
The Company continues to focus on developing its e-learning
digital capability and the building of recurring revenue streams
from its software products. This is allied to its strategy of
international expansion where the Company continues to see steady
growth, principally in Australasia and the Middle East, where
significant new contracts have been won.
Preliminary results are expected to be announced in late
June.
Ken Scott, Chief Executive, ILX Group commented:
"In what has been a tough year, especially in the UK, I am
pleased that the Company has continued to increase its revenue. We
are seeing the benefits of the move towards digitalisation of our
product suite and this combined with continued overseas expansion
will allow ILX to continue to grow. The foundations that we have in
place will ensure that ILX remains a market leader in digital
learning, worldwide."
