Net Asset Value


The net asset value of the Company at 31 March 2003 was 90.6p per share (31
December 2002 : 91.6p per share).


Sir Andrew Hugh Smith, Chairman, commented that "the Company's significant
liquid resources would allow it to invest in later stage technology businesses
at attractive valuations."


At the AGM held on May 15, all the ordinary and special resolutions were passed
by shareholders.
