TORONTO, May 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Redline Communications
(www.rdlcom.com Group Inc. TSX: RDL), a leading provider of mission
critical wireless networks, today announced that that Rob Soni has resigned as a member of the
Company's Board of Directors. Rob tendered a letter of resignation
to the Company, which was accepted by the Board of Directors on
May 27, 2014. Rob is resigning his
position to dedicate more of his time to the software company that
he founded and where he is CEO.
Rob has served as a Board member since September 2010 and in addition to his duties as
Director, was a member of a number of Board committees.
Nizar J. Somji has agreed to replace
Rob as a member of the Audit Committee and as Chair of the
Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and John Wilson has agreed to replace Rob as a
member of the Compensation Committee.
Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien, Redline Chairman, thanked Rob for
his years of service and guidance. "The insight Rob regularly
contributed has always been valuable as Redline was repositioned
into its role as a leading provider of mission critical wireless
networks," he noted. "The Board and indeed all of our shareholders
have benefited from his consistent and positive approach. We wish
him success in his new venture."
The current members of the Board are Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien
(Chair), Robert Williams,
Eric Demirian, Nizar J. Somji and John
Wilson, all of whom will be seeking re-election at Redline's
upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders on June 25, 2014.
